PROGRAM CALENDARParent & Child Groups
Parent-Child Mother Goose (for new parents and babies up to 10 months)
- A multi-week group for new parents and their babies.
- Come and learn some fun songs, rhymes, fingerplays and a little bit of storytelling.
- Wednesdays from 12:30-1:30 PM and runs throughout the year (groups start in January, April, June and September).
- Free but advance registration is required.

Baby Group (For parents and their babies; birth to 6 months)
- A free, registered 10-week informal discussion group with guest speakers on baby-related topics. Connection and community for new parents and their babies up to 6 months.
- Parents must register in advance – sorry, no drop-ins. Thanks for your kind understanding!
- Thursdays from 12:30-2 p.m. and runs periodically throughout the year (New starts in January, April and September).

Fun Through Music (intergenerational program)
We are so fortunate to be able to offer our popular Fun Through Music program again this fall for families with young children (under 5 years). Open to grandparents and seniors who are connected to our programs here at JBCP. A wonderful musical experience for young children and adults together. Children and adults alike can have fun – singing, dancing with scarves, and using simple percussion instruments – a joyful time for everyone.

Children’s Play Groups
Playgroups (for families with children; birth to 5 years)

Food Skills
Youth ages 12 – 15 years old will be given an opportunity to practice/develop cooking & baking skills through team-oriented challenges (think Iron Chef or Chopped). We will talk about safety, what healthy eating means/looks like across different cultures and communities, and how to incorporate foods we love into our lives in ways that support our wellbeing, mentally and physically.
