Giving Tuesday 2025
Update – December 8th, 2025:
Because of the generosity of neighbours, families, and local partners, we raised $13,885 through our Giving Tuesday efforts – an incredible expression of care for our community.
We’re especially grateful to James Bay Veterinary Clinic, our Community Match Partner, whose $500 matching gift helped spur early giving and set such a positive tone for the day.
Support from friends and neighbours – people just like you – have also helped propel our Fall Campaign forward in ways we hadn’t anticipated. As of today, we have raised $54,515 toward our $50,000 goal, a milestone made possible by so many people giving what they can to keep this neighbourhood connected and supported.
These gifts directly strengthen programs that matter every day – from seniors receiving friendly calls, to families finding community in our Family Centre, to neighbours navigating services with dignity and support.

Your generosity brings warmth and stability to so many, and we are deeply grateful.
Earlier this year, we received a generous $5,000 community challenge gift that helped kick-start our 50th Anniversary year. On Giving Tuesday, your support will build on that momentum and strengthen key programs for seniors, families, and neighbours right here in James Bay.
